This is the first live tutorial I recorded so I had no idea what I will end up with. Basically I wanted to show how to get a high contrast hard light effect in Photoshop, almost HDR looking. I wanted to keep things realistic so I used the contrast masking technique to keep the original shadows of the model.

If you have time, read my post below and help me with opening the cloud image in the selection. If I do it my way, later the gardient tool part is not working out as it should :/
how do you open the cloud image into the selection? I’m a beginner and I only managed to open it in another tab and paste into selection. After that I had problems with gardient tool.
