Making a believable lake in Photoshop is not a difficult task to do even for beginners. In this video tutorial I will show you how you can achieve that using a few filters. This effect can be applied to any image but it certainly looks best on landscape or outdoors images. Enjoy.

Any chance you will be making an in depth tutorial on combining portions of backgrounds to creat your own backgrounds for photo manipulations?
I actually do. I was thinking on making tutorials about that but if you follow the latest tutorials on the Manipulations category you will see that almost all tutorials start by explaining just that
