Get 140 premium stock photos for free

When it comes to starting a new design project, good and free stock images are often difficult to find. Great stock images can even give you new ideas. Premium stock photos and subscriptions to premium stock image providers may not be affordable for everybody. If that’s your case, I have the perfect solution for you.

I recently found Depositphotos. A website that provides very good premium stock photos at low cost. They currently have almost two million photos ready for download. I was looking for a photo for one of my tutorials and I saw that they give a 14 days free trial. I immediately signed up and started downloaded high resolution images.

There are little requirements needed. You must have a PayPal account and a credit card linked to it but it’s all free. Once you sign up you can download a maximum of 10 images a day. Here is how to get your 140 free images.

  1. Make sure you have a PayPal accout and a credit card linked to it.
  2. Go to depositphotos.com
  3. Click the free trial button or the “create an account” link

Once you click the button, you will be redirected to a new page with all the offers they have, some of them are really good. Click the “Register as Buyer Now” button.

After you click read the text if you want and click continue. Read the Agreement if you want, accept it and continue to the next page. Fill the form with your details and choose “Yes” to activate the free trial option. Pay attention to the first line because it contains the date when your subscription will expire.

Once you’ve filled the form click continue and you will be redirected to PayPal to confirm and accept your subscription. If you don’t have a credit card linked to your PayPal account you will be asked to do that now. This process is 100% safe so there is no risk of being charged during the 14 days of the trial. I used my 14 days trial without problems.

Once you submit the form, you can start browsing and downloading images. You can download 10 images a day so that’s 140 free images. If you don’t download the images during your trial days, you loose the right to download them.

Important

You must cancel your subscription before your trial period expires. On the 15th day you will be billed $39 per week with the right of downloading 15 images a day. You can cancel your subscription from PayPal on the transactions page. If you really want to make sure you will not be billed, cancel you subscription one day before your subscription expires.
